Euronavis company also acts as an authorized local office of the Italian consulting firm ENAVE (Ente Navale Europeo) a Notified Body to the European Comunity – (Notified Body 2406).

It’s a service company highly specialized in marine engineering, formed to create value by operating in all areas of commercial and recreational boating at the highest level for professional integrity, technical expertise, and intellectual independence and offers the following services:

• carry out inspections and tests further to the issuing, renewal, and authentication of the Italian safety certificate and other verification procedures required to comply with boating regulations and safety laws, i.e. boat charter and passenger transport licenses and permits.
• handle CE marking of sailing and/or motor-powered boats and yachts in line with EU Recreational Craft Directive 2013/53/UE, as well as post-construction CE marking of second-hand or imported vessels, and watercraft that have undergone major renovation and/or modification.
• issue CE marking for fuel tanks and hoses, prfabricated hatches and port lights, steering wheels and systems, and engine fire safety equipment in compliance with EU Recreational Craft Directive 2013/53
• certified and accredited partner laboratories and professionals performe rigorous gaseous and noise emission, and LPG/petrol double fuel testing for marine engines.
• crash tests for tillers and steering wheels, pressure impulse tests for fuel tanks, thickness and delamination testing of composite materials, osmosis testing, and analysis of gecoats and paintjobs. We also conduct stability and freeboard testing, as well as pressure and leak analysis for fuel tanks and other components.
• specialist technical staff carry out scientific and technological research and investigations into new laws regulating watercraft in Italy and abroad, as well as offering advice on design and construction techniques, planning general and special maintenance procedures, checking quotes, and inspecting boatyards where the work is to be carried out. ENAVE experts also perform checks on engines and hulls (steel, fibreglass and light alloys), manage maintenance and work schedues, and oversee maintenance and refitting procedures.
• provide nautical training and engineering courses for professional and sectorial guilds, orders, associations, firms and groups. We are also able to offer wrkshops on watercraft and pleasure-boating regulations, and refresher courses for technical and production staff, both in house and in company.
• ENAVE Quality Assessment tests the technical and functional characteristics of pleasure-craft parts and components that do not require CE marking, as well as decks and floating docks. Thanks to the professional expertise and specific know-how of our staff, our firm has set up its own testing regulations to ensure, that your product conforms to stringent safety standards, enabling manufacturers to provide their clients with products of highest possible quality.
